"The Non-Violence Project Brasil teaches life skills through the powerful tool of sport, to help young people understand the basic values of life. The program's mission is to inspire, motivate and engage young people in a global movement to radically reduce violence and change attitudes."
Non-Violence Project Brasil
NVP Brasil, registered as "Associacao Non-Violence Project Brasil" is the official representation of the Swiss based Non-Violence Project Foundation (NVPF), an international NGO, non-for-profit, founded in 1993 in Geneva (Switzerland).
NVP Brasil is executing two programmes, "Futebol Pela Paz - Circuito Brasil" and "Base Brasil". "Futebol Pela Paz - Circuito Brasil" is our project for the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil, a tour of 50 sculptures of the world's most recognized peace symbol, the "Knotted-Gun", designed by Brazilian artists, celebrities, athletes and children, throughout the host cities of the FIFA World Cup 2014 to raise awareness and funds for the implementation of the successful NVP Life Skill Programs
The programs have educated more than 6 million teachers and children world wide during the past 20 years.
